As an academic photo-history researcher I specialise in early colour photography pre-1935. I write regularly on Photo-historical objects and review books for several journals. I lecture on Photo-historical topics at various institutions.
Another aspect of my work is digitising and organising photographic archives as well as restoring the digitised copies to approximate their original appearance for publication or private use.
I have recently co-curated photography exhibitions, arranging mounting and producing the attendant publicity materials.
On a practical front I take and teach photography and am working on future publications within my specialist field.
I am a photographer, teacher of photography and photographic specialist. Find out more about me & what I do here, or see some of my work here.
